I have found some alternative remedies that really work. The three are: (1) Ganoderma Lucidum (2) Hoodia (3) Cordyceps Sinesis I will be letting you know the benefits of these alternative remedies in one post per day. Every time I can find a all-natural product to replace a prescription med, I like to let other people know about it or them. First is a 5 part series on Cordyceps Sinesis. A very impressive herb.
Part 1 Cordyceps introduction to the world Cordyceps sinensis is one of the most valued tonics of Chinese herbalism. In China it is recognized as a premier tonifier for athletes and anyone wanting to support energy and endurance. Outside the East, the world was largely unaware of cordyceps. This changed when the fungus caught the world's attention due to three female Chinese athletes, Wang Junxia, Qu Yunxia, and Zhang Linli. These athletes broke 5 world records for 1,500, 3,000 and 10,000 meters in 1993 at the National Games in Beijing, China. The amount of new world records being set at a single track event caused much attention and suspicion. Following the races, the women were expected by some to fail drug tests for anabolic steroids. However, the athletes' tests revealed no illegal substances, and coach Ma Junren told reporters that the runners were taking Cordyceps at his request. Purported uses Bronchitis chronic obstructive pulmonary disorders Cough Fatigue Hepatitis High cholesterol Immunostimulation Sexual dysfunction Strength and stamina Clinical Summary Although no known drug interactions exist, blood glucose should be monitored in diabetics using cordyceps due to possible hypoglycemic effects (1). Further, animal studies showed proliferation of progenitor red blood cells (8). Therefore, cordyceps should not be used by those with myelogenous type cancers.
How does Cordyceps Sinensis work once it enters my body? While there are some specific mechanisms of action that we will discuss with the Cordyceps, its real claim to fame is its adaptogen status.
I will present you with Part 2 tomorrow titled, "Cordyceps Sinesis Claim to Fame."
To see a product I am using with great success, just go to Lloyd's Ganoderma Coffee and Health Shoppe. I and my wife use the 500mg capsules.
I will be happy to share with you the help I and my wife have received from Cordyceps Sinesis.
Sincerely, Lloyd Nelson |

There is so much we can do for ourselves with naturally occuring herbs, minerals and supplements - why not do it and avoid all the chemicals.
